Today, another Trillian Astra screenshot was published in the Ceruleanstudios blog. It shows the contact list. Following the tradition to give out little detail about upcoming versions, the screenhots does not allow to draw conclusions on new features.

The Whistler skin of Trillian 3.1 is still in use. The lower part of the contact list contains a search bar. Contacts are shown in a grid view. The screenshot shows only 4 active messenger services, one of them is green-blue. This could be a new service, but it's also possible that the color of the icon has just been changed.

Update: In the mean time, the developers confirmed that Trillian Astra will have a new default skin. The Whistler skin shown on the screenshot is just another option. They also confirmed that the grid view with relatively large icons is just one possible contact list layout and that the user will be able to set the contact list view accoring to his personal preferences.
