Ceruleanstudios released a public beta of Trillian 3.1 after running an internal beta test. This new versions fixes bugs in the previously released 3.0 version and brings some new features.

Trillian 3.1 is the first version that allows a decent management of multiple identities. Contact lists of several accounts at the same IM service are no longer combined and completely seperated contact lists (e.g. private and work) can be created. The new UPnP support helps all users of Windows XP with UPnP capable routers - a manual configuration of file transfer ports is no longer necessary. The new version is supposed to be faster. The IRC support has been improved, although it is still not as good as in older releases.
