Web-based Trillian Express presented

The group of Trillian Astra alpha testers is slowly increased. The first users that signed up for the test got access to the program. More testers are added gradually. The new Trillian Express was presented along with the opening of the test group. It is a web-based messenger that allows to use Trillian via a browser.

The express version is programmed in Flash and works independent of the operating system. It mimics a desktop on which you can move, minimize, and resize the contact list and chat windows. All open windows are accessible via a bar at the bottom of the screen, similar to the Mac OS X operating system. More features, e.g. for displaying the latest news, will follow later. The web-based Trillian is available on www.trillianastra.com, but only official alpha testers may login at the moment. Two screenshots show Trillian Express on Mac OS X (Safari) and Windows Vista (Internet Explorer)
