Universal File Sharing (UFS) starts a small web server on your computer to reliably share files with chat partners over any medium. To install the plugin, simply extract it to the Trillian plugins folder. If your computer is behind a Router or Firewall, you need to forward a port to your computer. By default the plugin uses port 5553 but you may set any other port in the preferences. The plugin adds a File Sharing block to your contact list and a share menu to chat windows. You can use these to send any file to your chat partner. He will simply receive a download link that allows to download the file from the web server that the plugin started on your machine.
