MessenPass recovers password of Trillian and various other messengers.
MessenPass allows you to recover the passwords of the following Instant Messengers:
- Trillian
- MSN Messenger
- Yahoo Messenger (versions 5.x and 6.x)
- Google Talk
- ICQ Lite 4.x/5.x/2003
- AOL Instant Messenger (only older versions)
- AOL Instant Messenger/Netscape 7
- Miranda
- Gaim
- Windows Messenger (from Windows XP)
It can only recover passwords of the currently logged-in Windows user and of course it only works if you told the messenger to remember your password. The tool detects all installed messenger applications and displays usernames and passwords in a table. In case MessenPass does not detect an installed messenger you can manually point it to the right folder.
MessenPass has been developed by Nir Sofer. He also offers a collection of language packs for the application.
